| There was a Catholic nun I read about (years ago) who saw in Vincent many aspects of Jesus Christ... especially in the way he would seek out the 'lost' and offer them shelter in his heart. Many thanks, Agnes and Annik! |

| Make that four of us! When I read the essay I found a lot of things in it that mirrored my own thoughts, and many more I hadn't even thought about, but that made obvious sense. I felt it just *had* to be translated, because it was too good, documented and insightful not to be shared with fandom at large. Thank you Agnès! |

| Thank you for sharing this - what an awesome paper - interesting, fascinating and beautifully written. I have seen religious and spiritual symbolism in our show from the very beginning - but often feel like I am the only one who does. I am so happy to have found a kindred spirit! |
